I never ever get tired of photographing my kids. This is taken on my bed while watching TV (ghost stories) over the weekend. I wanted dramatic lighting so you couldn't tell where we are sitting. He was laying in front of me, I called his name, he gave me his little grin when he saw me holding my camera. I "heart" him !!

This lady is always in my studio, she never leaves and is willing to model and test lights for me anytime for as long as I want.
If there is one thing I'm learning to LOVE about Off Camera Flash, it's how almost perfect my images are SOOC!!! Very little editing needed.

I started out doing this in color, but as usual one of the bunch had to be a rebel and not brush their teeth after the spaghetti and meatballs dinner. I wasn't about to try to edit his mouth, so I edited first and then added a lightroom preset by Totally Rad Actions. I think it came out better this way.

Halloween is probably my favorite holiday. Last night I attended a party with a 70's and 80's theme for my friend Leesa. I decided to go with the 70's. Letting out my inner Hippie just seemed like the natural thing to do. It was lot of fun seeing everyone else dress up and it was a definite stress reliever from what's been going on. I still feel so foolish doing self portraits but I decided it had to be my picture of the day.

My little man Damian's turn to be a Rock Star for a day. We really had fun setting it all up. Complete with Rock Star hair and Tatts. I asked Sean and Carrie if they wanted to be Rock Stars to, but they declined. I'll work on them. Maybe tomorrow I'll do me :)

The kids came home with stories of being in a real tornado scare, forming the school tornado crouch listening to the sirens fill the air. It was not a drill!
I had noticed the sun peeking out of the clouds and hitting the tops of the trees and grabbed my camera. I started to shoot this photo with the intent of showing the different red, yellow, and green contrasting colors of the these particular three trees. While looking through the viewfinder I noticed this rainbow starting forming in the exact spot I was shooting. Wow! It lasted about 5 minutes and was gone.
