Kimberly ~ A Woman thinking of her Man

I turned on the news about a week ago while getting ready for a morning Portrait Session, to find out the warm weather had fled. The week before it had been unseasonably warm for November, and then the temperature plunged to, what!?, 26 degrees! Of all the mornings!
I grabbed my little lifeline to my friends in the world and started texting, should we move the shoot someplace indoors, have you seen the temps?
Kimberly came to me through my friend Cherene, and how she met Cherene is a whole adventure in itself.
Kim braved the frost and we met for our shoot. She did her homework, had a theme, a sports wardrobe, and some ideas of her own. She wanted to do something for her husband. A Sports Fanatic! (just like mine) I asked Kim if she truly enjoyed the sports with her husband or if it was his thing. She was nodding her head before even speaking, she really enjoys the sports with him.
I've always thought sports were boring, something the older relatives did in the other room at the Holiday gatherings. I get banished to the back room while Eddie takes over the high def, no kidding, he stands in front of the TV like he's, there. I always want to watch my own stuff. Sports have never done it for me, goodness I've tried.
What started out as a small session turned into a whole day of girl talk, laughing, and sharing our goals.
Kim you are beautiful, inside and out, I'm so glad to have you as a new friend!

Damian joins the Innisfree Christian Horse Club

well, actually Damian and Carrie both joined, but because there are people out there who either don't care about or would hurt Carrie's quality of life, I'll only be posting Damian. It's quite a group of young folks, all learning their way in life, making friends, while learning responsibility, love, kindness, sharing, and forgiveness.
Poor Damian, there are only 2 or 3 boys out of a group of about 30, I can't remember. What's a curse to him now, will be a blessing when he's older...wink wink.

This past Oct 4th was a beautiful morning, and all the kids were so excited to get started with the Clubs' first meet at their new location. The Innisfree Horse Farm located in Canal Winchester Ohio and owned by my girl Shelley. Holla at ya baby!

Bugs galore and Damian collecting them!

by next year, he'll be scooting closer...

Photobucket All the younger, newer kids are taken under the wing of the older more experienced ones. I wasn't surprised when Damian jumped right on, bareback, without a care in the world. They learn how to balance themselves and find their center of gravity on horse back very quickly this way.

He was quickly called out before he could even get moving, by his older buddy Jeff. ummhmmm......helmet safety young man!

Chad ~ A Senior

so if you haven't figured it out yet, I did all three of these Senior boys at the same time! I kinda wish I had more time to focus on them individually, but I still think we made it a fun time, and the guys enjoyed being able to hang with each other.
Here's Senior #3 Chad...
