MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!

This year we wanted to do something really drastic for Christmas. Having 5 kids can really be overwhelming sometimes. Keeping them all in line is even harder. The youngest ones really seem to struggle for attention and sometimes it reflects in their school work. As soon as we get a call from school about one kid, the other makes sure we get one about them too! No one likes to be forgotten ya know!
This year Eddie and I wanted to give the kids something that would really grab their attention. And something we could use for "leverage"...gosh we are evil parents....whuaaahhaaahhaaaaa!
Our solution......get them something to where we would need surgical help to remove the smiles from their faces, and then use it like a carrot stick !
our answer.....Keep them grades up kids! Can't wait to hit the trails!
Merry Christmas!

Norman has no fear of speed! Dad had to really give him the briefing about slowing down! Once he got the hang of speeding up slowly, he was fearless!
Girls like power and bikes too! Move over Angelina Jolie, Carrie's got wheels!
Damian was in HEAVEN!!!!!! He claimed to be "experienced" since he has ridden with his Uncle George, but was the first one to CRASH! He was also the first to give Mom her first ride (although no one seems to pick up the camera but ME!)

Sean was so stoked he called his best friend from my cell phone...and let him listen to the sweet sound of the motor ripping speed through the wind.

Hey, after all the hard work we do raising these kids, even Dad has to have some fun!

Happy Birthday Sean !

December is always a wild and crazy month in our family. This year has been a bit more wacky than usual. Sean had a sleep over with several of his best buddies. They stayed up all night practicing the latest and greatest of their newest boy fad, wrestle mania. The party got just a bit too enthusiastic when someone body slammed themselves on Seans bed, breaking the wooden frame clean in half. (guess who's doing dishes for a week!) :0
I'm so proud of Sean~ ! He's a true leader. He is my compliant child! (thank goodness I got at least one) Sean get's great grades, has perfect manners, and loves to read and learn new things. Sean loves what most boys love, fast cars, cute girls, skateboarding, football, motocross, and of course his new wrestling fever. They have these $10 "wrestle champion belts" up at walmart and all his friends have them. Eddie and I crack up laughing at all these boys walking around with belts on huffing up their shoulders and claiming to be the best! True to Sean's acting chops, he has established his own " wrestling team". He of course is the manager, trains his team, and holds competitions, complete with his clip board and "contracts".
I don't want him to grow up! It's just happening too fast! Here's to turning 12 !
Happy Birthday Sean! I love you!!!
